last night i decided to email my "friend" perrin on facebook.  i wouldn't say we are really friends, but we have known eachother since first or second grade, went to elementary school together, were in the same girl scout troupe, and then went to middle school and high school together.  i'm not really sure why we were never friends, we were always friendly, and were friends with a lot of the same people (sarah and megan are both very good friends with perrin).  anyway perrin got married a few years ago and then this year (november) she had a baby.  she is the only person my age i know who has a baby.  i have just felt so lonely with the pregnancy with none of my friends really being able to understand and talk about stuff i'm going through.  i emailed perrin last night basically asking her to be my friend, and you all know how i am, i was thinking she would probably say she didn't have time, and why would i want to be friends now when we never were before and stuff like that, but of course that isn't at all what she said and it just made me feel really good to get her email.  anyway here is the email i sent her and her response.
